Stapled Wraps. Condition: Near Fine. First Edition. This is a collection of post cards, the photographs having been taken by the photographer Marcel Delboy. There are 20 post cards. They are held within the wraps by two staples, one of which has pulled through the wraps but with minimal damage and no tear beyond that of the staple. The wraps themselves have browned beyond the edge and the original blue is quite faded. The photographs are of METZ in Lorraine 1. Une place 2. Marechal Petain (on horseback). 10. Poilus et Vieux braves de Lorraine. 16. this is a wonderful photograph of a WWI tank leading a parade of mounted soldiers - the modern leading the past. There are several showing Lorrainians pulling down a statue of a German and several others of the locals. All 20 of the postcards are present. It is unusual to find the complete set and this really is in remarkable condition.
