The text page is age-toned. The postcards are a bit age-toned, but clean. ; 27B; 3-1/2" x 6".

Laid in is a very small original sepia-toned photo of a man standing by some kind of structure. Captions are in French. Oblong 16mo.

Stapled Wraps. Condition: Near Fine. First Edition. This is a collection of post cards, the photographs having been taken by the photographer Marcel Delboy. There are 20 post cards. They are held within the wraps by two staples, one of which has pulled through the wraps but with minimal damage and no tear beyond that of the staple. The wraps themselves have browned beyond the edge and the original blue is quite faded. The photographs are of METZ in Lorraine 1. Une place 2. There are several showing Lorrainians pulling down a statue of a German and several others of the locals. All 20 of the postcards are present. It is unusual to find the complete set and this really is in remarkable condition.
