Hardcover. Condition: Near Fine. No Jacket. G. Rosso (illustrator). Boards are covered with plastic that is cracked at the lower spine edge and taped to the inside paste downs. Boards appear to be in good shape with some diffuse surface soil.Light rubbing or bumping to some edges. Brown spine intact. Some offset from the small pieces of tape on the plastic cover to the ffep and the rear free end paper. The interior of the book is clean and looks unused. The illustrations by Rosso are absolutely lovely and fresh-looking. The title page is embossed with the stamp of the Società Italiana degli Autori.
