Ce texte commence par : "Monsieur Denyau, conseiller-lecteur & professeur du roi, docteur régent en la Faculté de médecine de Paris, expliquera les controverses de l'anatomie, dont il fera la démonstration selon Galien & Hippocrate. Il évitera la confusion de ces commis de nouvelle doctrine." Tout le reste de ce texte est très violent contre la "nouvelle doctrine". "L'homme, disent ces beaux trouveurs de rien, n'est qu'une machine qui doit-être expliquée par les mécaniques. Si nous faisons réflexion sur les termes dont ils se servent, ils sont barbares, rustiques, vils, forgés par de misérables manoeuvres & pour être bon médecin à leur méthode, il faut faire l'apprentissage de serrurier, menuisier, horloger, charpentier, maçon, fontainier & une infinité d'autres."
