Qualche piccolo difetto ai margini del dorso. Tagli spruzzati in rosso. Marca tipografica al frontespizio con motto "Non Solus". Testatine e iniziali xilografiche. E…semplare in buone-ottime condizioni di conservazione. Prima edizione stampata da Johannes Elzevier di quest'opera del noto medico ginevrino discendete da una famiglia protestante lucchese, Alexander Deodatus. L'autore fu medico ufficiale della "Chambre de la Santé" di Ginevra e amico personale di John Milton. L'opera è una guida per il mantenimento della buona salute con descrizione di numerose malattie e ritrovati farmaceutici per curarle.
