Snugly bound and neat with untrimmed edges; top edge gilt and silk book mark sewn in. Unidentified armorial bookplate with motto "Victor et Fidelis" is mounted to front pastedown. Light binder's glue toning to pastedowns but otherwise the contents are bright snug and very neat. Profusely illustrated with engraved vignettes, many tissue guarded. Handsome copy. VG++.
