Binding is tight and sturdy; text, photos and illustrations very good throughout; mild shelfwear to edges of boards; front board slightly bowed at bottom edge due to some contact with water, which is also visible along bottom edge of page block; bottom edge of pages a little wavy, some pages show faint staining. A flawed but still very presentable copy, signed by the famous Vaudeville stage magician, published the year he became Dean of the Society of American Magicians.
