Soft cover. Condition: Very Good+. Staple-bound in card covers. Covers show light handling. A couple pink scuff spots on title page; hand-written addendum/corrections on one page, else clean. iv, 54 pages. A Deter family genealogy, being that of George Deter and his descendants. George Deter [early spellings alternatively Dieter or Dieder] (1775-1850), was of German descent, was born in December 1775, likely in Pennsylvania, and married Maria Croft (Kraft?). He is buried in Chambersburg, Franklin County, Pennsylvania, in the Grindstone Hill Cemetery. Several of their children were born in Adams County, Pennsylvania. The final twenty pages covers one their children David Eckford Deter (b. 1817) and his descendants. He migrated to northern California in 1850.
