Das "Archiv für Kunstgeschichte" brachte in periodischer Form unveröffentlichte Kunstwerke in guten Lichtdrucken heraus. Es wurden vornehmlich Gemälde, Skulptuten und Handzeichnungen vom späten Mittelalter bis zum Ende des 18.Jahrhunderts dargestellt.
