Hardcover. Condition: Fine. There are 23 nineteenth or the early part of the twentieth century photographs typical size 220 x 150 mm, many bearing the stamp of F. Frith & Co. Ltd. The second part of the collection is made up of some 86 photographs mainly taken in the 1970s, probably by Ron himself. Typically in two sizes,125 x 90 mm, and the larger sized 200 x 125 mm (approx). I have tried to display some of the photographs loosely in a high quality stamp album, the rest are still loose in clear plastic bags. A UNIQUE COLLECTION worthy of full cataloguing and imaginative displaying. Looking at these evocative photographs we are aware we are looking at a soon to be forgotten part of rural life. The PO (along with the pub) was at the heart of these communities, the vast majority now closed.
