A pop band, formed in England in 1970 by sons of US Air Force personnel stationed in London. "Tin Man" is a 1974 song by the band. The song is inspired by the Tin Woodman from The Wizard of Oz. Songwriter Bunnell was quoted saying: "My favorite movie, I guess. I always loved it as a kid. Very obscure lyrics. Great grammar - 'Oz never did give nothing to the Tin Man'." The song became the band's 4th top-ten hit in the US by 1974 though was of little consequence in the UK.
