Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Good +. 1st Edition. First Edition hardcover in brown cloth boards with bright gilt spine title. Tips sharp, spine ends bumped. Not Exlib, No names, tears or soil in the 171 page story. Black and white photo illustrated dust wrapper shows a young girl jumping a grey Cob over a rail fence in a ring setting. 2/3 of the front flap is missing but it had the foreword printed on it, which is complete and readable on the foreword page at the start of the story. Jacket shows color loss and small chips at periphery and spine ends with light even soil on white background rear panel. Author's name visible on dust wrapper backstrip but title has been sunned and is illegible. Uncommon in the any dust wrapper. Foreword by Colonel The Hon. C. Guy Cubbitt, D.S.O., T.D. A word from the author: This is a story written primarily for members of The Pony Club who are contemplating taking their 'B' and 'C' tests. It is not a beginner's book, but just in case it gets into the hands of a reader who is not absolutely certain of his 'Points of a Horse,' or one who has never had the opportunity of enjoying a day's hunting, I have made the Glossary at the back as comprehensive as I can, and have included in it several non-horsey terms which I have used myself but which might not be clear to everybody.
