Once in a while, he sneakily inserts some devastatingly wise and practical detail on how to catch a particular fish (even a very particular fish) or how to bag some elusive game, but you'll find a lot more here on the fisherman than the fished, more on the hunter than the hunted, more on the camper than on campsites.
