Introductory essay "The Position and Significance of J. Dietzgen's Philosophical Works" by Dr. Anton Pannekoek of which initial three pages (i.e. pages 7-9) have pencil underlining and marginalia. No other such markings readily apparent upon a quick perusal. Text divided into three primary sections: "The Nature of Human Brain Work; A Renewed Critique of Pure and Practical Reason;" "Letters on Logic Especially Democratic-Proletarian Logic;" and "The Positive Outcome of Philosophy." Else a very good copy.

Hardcover. Condition: Good. A hardcover catalog of various drafting and surveying supplies manufactured by Eugene Dietzgen Co. Bound with green fabric wrapped boards, and stamped with a dark green and orange design. Good condition. 529 pages, and measuring 6 x 9 inches in size. There are plentiful descriptions of the many items…and black & white illustrations throughout, some colored with yellow. The inside cover has a unique attached pamphlet of samples of drawing and tracing papers. There is light shelf wear at the crown of the spine and the top corners are slightly bent. The fabric on the front board appears to have some water damage, but the board itself is not weakened or warped. The binding is strong with no loose or missing pages. The title page and two following pages have numerous marks from a library, stamped and in pencil. Page 309 has marks in regular and orange pencil that do not obscure the illustrations. No other pages are marked, and all illustrations are clear. This is an ex-library copy, with a book label on the free end paper, catalog numbers in white on the spine and a card pocket on the last page of the volume in addition to the pencil marks and stamps previously noted. This catalog comes from a collection of several thousand trade manuals.
