The company is still in operation as Dietzgen Corporation. Interior pages clean, unmarked except damp staining throughout. This is an original document. Staples are tight.

Hardcover. Condition: Good. A hardcover catalog of various drafting and surveying supplies manufactured by Eugene Dietzgen Co. Bound with green fabric wrapped boards, and stamped with a dark green and orange design. Good condition. 529 pages, and measuring 6 x 9 inches in size. There are plentiful descriptions of the many items and black & white illustrations throughout, some colored with yellow. The inside cover has a unique attached pamphlet of samples of drawing and tracing papers. There is light shelf wear at the crown of the spine and the top corners are slightly bent. The fabric on the front board appears to have some water damage, but the board itself is not weakened or warped. The binding is strong with no loose or missing pages. The title page and two following pages have numerous marks from a library, stamped and in pencil. Page 309 has marks in regular and orange pencil that do not obscure the illustrations. No other pages are marked, and all illustrations are clear. This is an ex-library copy, with a book label on the free end paper, catalog numbers in white on the spine and a card pocket on the last page of the volume in addition to the pencil marks and stamps previously noted. This catalog comes from a collection of several thousand trade manuals.

The orange and black cloth boards are in good condition with minimal bumping to the corners. The preface page has come loose and there is a tear to one page not affecting text, otherwise the pages are without markings or spotting and in good condition. It is exlibrary with stamps to the top of the cover, dated 1949, a call number sticker on the spine, and pencil markings to the end paper and stamp to the title page.
