Light browning to the endpapers but the pages are otherwise clean and unmarked. The jacket has some ragged tearing at the top left corner of the front panel where about an inch is missing. There is a ragged one inch closed tear to the top right corner of the front panel which also has some holes to the fore edge and chipping to the bottom edge. The spine has chipping at the top and bottom with some loss. The rear panel has two half-inch pieces missing from the top edge and the bottom edge has one inch and half-inch closed tears. Chipping to the corners and some discolouration to the rear panel. Some of the most fragile parts have been reinforeced with small pieces of tape attached to the reverse of the jacket.

Condition: Very good. First edition. 8vo. Original blue cloth. Dust-jacket, correctly priced 7/6.
