Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Margie - Marjorie Cooper (illustrator). Only info on edition or dates is on title page- states: "Copyright 1955, James & Jonathan, Inc., Kenosha Wisconsin". This book is profusely illustrated by "Margie" who's full name is Marjorie Cooper. Marjorie Cooper was illustrator for other Bonnie Books during the 40-50's time period. Research shows this book may have a 1940's edition. Illustration on front cover is basically the same across other known copies but binding seems to vary. A Bonnie book was produced in style of a Little Golden Book- illustrated heavy cardboard covers with a staple binding. The interior pages have NO writing, tears or creases. Paper is browning along page edges. All pages firmly attached - NO loose or lost pages. This is NOT an ex-lib NOR is it a remainder. Illustrated covers show some soiling & rubbing. The paper covering along spine is missing along spine on backside. However, illustration on cardboard covers is still colorful and overall unmarred. Boards are well attached and NOT heavily creased or broken. Book size is approximately 6.75"W by 8"L. See pictures. Rare to find a 70+ year old children's book that is in very good condition.
