Hardcover. Condition: Good. First Edition. Two volumes. Good. Red cloth, some rubbing and soiling, with gilt lettering on the spine. Volume I square and firmly bound, hinges cracked in Volume II, foxed at the edges. An interesting insight into the thoughts of the United States' government toward different groups of immigrants around the turn of the 20th century.
