Debut photo book by contemporary Greek artist and photographer Dimitris Yeros, a collection of simple yet evocative views of Greece (especially the island of Lesbos, where he resides), as well as Egypt and New York. Finely printed with 60 full-page plates. Very uncommon. In excellent condition.

Rare book on Greek contemporary artist and photographer of the male nude, among the earliest publications of his artwork. Well printed, with a glossary of themes in his work in front, followed by 34 full-page plates, nearly all in color - stylized landscapes with nods to Surrealism and displaying a childlike wonder. Rare - Rare book - OCLC shows only TWO copies in American institutions. In excellent condition save for faint age toning to edges of cover.

Twenty-five full page color plates plus several smaller color illustrations, b&w photo of the authors. In Fine condition, without a dust jacket, probably as issued. Hardcover, gray cloth over boards, with a pictorial paste-on label. The label is a copy of the plate titled "Exuberant Flowering." A tiny bump to tail of spine, otherwise everything is bright, crisp and lovely, corners sharp, no markings. SIGNED and inscribed by Yeros on the half title page. Essay by John Wood: "The Exuberant Flowering of Dimitris Yeros." The essay, the biographical information at the rear, and titles of the prints are in both Greek and English.
