[iv], 84pp., wraps. 9 figures in text and 4 plates (3 folding). Study of the Chinese military by Dimitry Vasilyevich Putjata of the Russian General Staff, translated into German by the Austro-Hungarian officer (later Polish general) Stanislaw Pruszynski. Wraps worn, chipped, faded, weakly attached, a few pencil marks, top and bottom inch of spine lost. Pages yellowed, mostly unopened/uncut, with some minor creases and blemishes. Bookplate to copyright page ("Dr. Opalski").
