Um die realitätsnahe Entwicklung der Druckfestigkeit, des E-Moduls, der rheologischen Eigenschaften und des Verhaltens im Biegezugversuch (sowohl für Balken als auch für Platten) zu erfassen, erfolgten zahlreiche Untersuchungen an Labor- und Baustellenbetonen im möglichst jungem Alter. Der Faserverlust wegen Rückprall beim Trocken- und Nassspritzverfahren wurde analysiert und ermittelt. Neben dem bekannten Biegezugverfahren (Kraft - Durchbiegung) gemäß DBV-Merkblatt wurden Untersuchungen an Balken aus Stahlfaserbeton mit verschiedenen Fasergehalten und Fasertypen nach RILEM Recommendation (Kraft-Rissöffnung) und EFNARC durchgeführt.
