First Edition. Compilation of 17 poems about dogs written by authors including, Rudyard Kipling, Lord Byron, and Robert Browning. Includes photo of shaggy dog on a pedestal pasted to front cover. With illustrated paw-print "signature" of Dinnie-Dog. Octavo, with paper board covers, in original dustjacket with photo of Dinnie-Dog to front panel. Near Fine but for soiling to top page edge, foxing to picture at front cover, spine ends worn, in a Very Good plus dustjacket with dime-sized chip to lower spine end, inch closed tear to front panel edge, few smaller tears, light staining, spine darkened.
