Dark blue cloth with gilt text to spine, a little shelf wear to edges and corners, previous owners details to first free end paper, page 131 has a tear, no other marks or inscriptions. D/J is very well worn, several bad tears, some pieces missing, some staining to cover, unclipped. Good.

Hardcover. Condition: Fair. First Edition, First Printing. 290p. Ex-library. A navy blue cloth hardcover book in good reading condition. The spine and top edge of back cover are faded. Sticker on spine as well, and corners mildly worn. Library stamps, bookplate, call numbers, and card pocket inside. Otherwise, text itself clean and binding tight. A scarce history of the development of the Catholic Mass, Divine Office, and liturgical calendar.
