The text is accompanied by dozens of black & white photos and drawings and a color lithograph of Denver in 1859 from the collection of Fred M. Mazzulla and Jo Mazzulla. --- In patterned cream paper-covered boards backed in green cloth, with titling in gilt to spine. Volume wrapped in dust jacket which repeats the color image of Denver in 1859. --- A clean, tightly-bound, well-preserved copy lacking obvious damages. Jacket with a couple of tears to front panel, other small areas of chafing to extremities but overall intact and wrapped in removable archival mylar protector.; Octavo - 8 to 9 in. tall; xi, 307, (1) pages.
