A perfect, vintage collectible for your tiki bar! Gorgeous graphics from the late 1950s, full of period advertisements & vintage photographs, the majority black-&-white, with some tinted pink, green or yellow. In 111 pages with Index + Index to Advertisers in rear. Spiral-bound with hard decorative boards, this is an exceptionally clean & bright copy. Red spiral coil is perfectly intact, pages secure & completely unmarked save for mild tanning. Very mild rubbing to extremities & light corner bumping. A very nice illustrated map if the Hawaiian Islands with flight routes, colorful natives and a historical cartouche illustration of early Island life. Colorful and richly illustrated with islanders at work and recreation. Small stamp of travel agency at the the bottom of rear panel. Map is printed on thick paper and the photos and advertising on the rear does not show through when framed. Looks lovely and colorful. 12" x 18".

Tourist brochure with colour illustrated title panel to the front 11 x 23cm opening out to 46 x 31cm with attractive Tiki style pictorial colour map by Donn Allison to one side, and descriptions of Kauai, Maui, Hawaii and Molokai illustrated with colour and b/w photos to the other. Undated, but the back panel showcases the Fairchild F-27 Turboprop, used by Aloha Airlines between 1959-67, and the map shows its routes. Very good with light creasing and a little edge wear, and a Waikiki based tour operator's ink stamp to the back.
