Hardcover. Reprint. Reprint of 1889 pamphlet. 30 p. Includes: illustrations, maps. Promontory Press was a subsidiary of A & W Promotional Book Corporation. In 1889, thirteen years after the Battle of the Little Big Horn, A. J. Donnelle of Boston, edited and caused to be published, what is now a rare Custeriana pamphlet. The form…at of the original Cyclorama was typical of the times, being about 50% larger than regular pamphlets then published. The Cyclorama itself contained the full reports of Major Reno, Captain Benteen, and Sitting Bull, as well as a lengthy letter from the Custer's widow defending her husband. Included was also a list of officers and men killed during the battle. Due to the scarcity of this pamphlet, in order to make the information more generally available, it has been reprinted. The pamphlet was originally published by the Boston Cyclorama Co. and the full title of the original version was Cyclorama of Gen. Custer's Last FIght Against Sioux Indians, or the Battle of the Lilttle Big Horn, with Grand Musee of Indian Curios. Donnelle, was the Manager of the Cyclorama. Good in good dust jacket. DJ has some wear and soiling.
