Add to basketHardcover. Condition: Fair. Small folio - 13.5" x 10"; the worst condition part of this book is the cover; it has a red cloth spine - parts of which has bled into the white illustrated boards (see illustrations on ABE and our own site). Parts of the cover have obviously been damp at some time, causing this bleeding of dye , a little watermarking to cover, and there are small patches where the surface of illustration has come off; unfortunately due to size the whole of the cover will not fir in our scanner but if you want further pictures, just ask; the damp does not appear to have gone to the inside of the book; it is possible the pages may have been reglued at some point, some seem to be tightly bound for their age -however the 'Jack Sprat' one is coming away at the top of page - so I'm really not sure. Whether re glued or not, the binding is uneven. ; pages lightly browning as would be expected some illustrations are b/w line drawings, some are coloured; some pages have very small closed tears at edges; some grubby marks from use; this is a book of rhymes and nursery rhymes with some lovely illustrations, but sadly in far from perfect condition. Scarce. ; Folio 13" - 23" tall.
