Soft cover. Condition: Good. No Jacket. 440 pages, no date (a modern reprint from the first ed of 1903), paperback, N&M Press, not exlib. It includes biographical details of those who 'fell' in the war - around 1,000 officers (why not enlisted men too?). They are mostly lieutenants and captains with the occasional major and lieutenant-colonel. A brief appendix covers journalists and nursing sisters. Condition; very good all round but one page has a crease in it. Wrappers and spine in good condition. Little used.
