Aber die meisten Dinge dort berührten mich überhaupt nicht, so zum Beispiel Marx und Engels, Liebknecht und Luxemburg, Lenin und Stalin. Ich hatte andere Sorgen: Wie überleben wir das alles, war meine wichtigste Frage. Von mir wollten die Anderen oft wissen, was ich in Königsberg und Litauen erlebt hatte. Manchmal habe ich gesagt, dass ich nicht immer darüber sprechen kann, weil all die furchtbaren Erinnerungen wieder in mir hochkamen und ich alles nachts wiedererlebte. Aber ich schwieg auch aus einem anderen Grund: Es war offiziell verboten, über 'Flüchtlinge', 'Heimatvertriebene' oder gar 'Wolfskinder' zu sprechen. Der Staat bezeichnete uns als 'Übersiedler' und betonte, dass wir freiwillig in die DDR gekommen seien.\*Nach ihrem Buch 'Ich war ein Wolfskind aus Königsberg' berichtet die 1935 in Königsberg (Ostpreußen) geborene Ursula Dorn nun über die Fortsetzung ihrer tragischen Geschichte. Dem Krieg entronnen bleibt sie auch in der DDR fremd und nutzt 1953 die Chance zur Flucht in die Bundesrepublik. Doch auch im 'goldenen Westen' ist das Leben als Flüchtling äußerst beschwerlich. Durch ihre zupackende Art gelingt es Ursula allen Schwierigkeiten zum Trotz, sich nach vielen harten Jahren eine glückliche Existenz aufzubauen.
