Pictorial Boards. Condition: Good ++. Red boards with black and gilt design. The front end paper is missing and the the fold out frontespiece has been reattached to the body of the book using acid free tape. There is a pencil ownership inscription on the front end paper; a small stain at the bottom right hand corner of the front… cover and another at the back; the tail of the spine strip has faded and in patches it is beginning to unravel, the head is damaged and the boards' edges are bumped. Internally the book is in excellent condition and the binding solid. The book is intended for children.

The readings were held at Dwinelle Hall, the Berkeley Art Center, and at Shakespeare & Co. Over 60 poets read, and all were invited to submit one poem/one page.
