Soft cover. Condition: Very Good. Engravings (illustrator). Norwegian language. Original plain wraps with applique cover identical to the title page. 120 pages. Illustrated throughout with full and partial-page engravings. Presentation copy to Lars M. Gimmestad, president of Gale College (Wisconsin), from the author, but not signed. Doving is best remembered as a translator of hymns; this is an early work, published before the author graduated from Luther College. The wraps show a touch of foxing at the fore-edge and spine, otherwise clean and bright. A clean, tight copy. Scarce. Size: 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
