Hardcover. Condition: Fine. 1st Edition. A Near Flawless And Quite Attractive Example Of This Early Nh Town History, Over 100 Years Old And Complete With The Original Folding Map In The Rear. Bound In The Original Brown Cloth Adorned With Gilt Titles On The Spine. 459 Pages With Only A Small Ownership Stamp On Bottom Left Corner Verso Of The Front Cover As Ownership Evidence. A Very Well-Kept Example Of An Interesting And Scarce New Hampshire History. It Took The Author Over 25 (1880-1906) Years To Accumulate The Material For This Body Of Work And He Unfortunately Died Just Scant Weeks After It Was Finally Resolved By Committee In August, 1906 To Be Published. It Seems That Town 'Committees' Were Feet-Draggers Even Way Back Then!! What A Shame He Never Saw His Work In Print.
