None Stated. 200, engraved plate illustrations, most with a tissue guard, the book and contents are solid and tight, the pages are foxed, some heavy, there is occasional soil and light dampstain on a few lower corners, the endpapers have the owner's name and some math problems inked on them many times, the covers are tight and have some scuffing, soil and edge rubbing, the corners are bumped, this is a very solid and usable book concerning travel in early 19th century Germany, the book has no publication date listed by the printer.

Hardcover. Condition: Good. No Jacket. AG Vickers (illustrator). Translated by H. E. Lloyd. Writes about travels to Lubeck, Hamburgh, Berlin, Marienberg, Dantzic and Konigsberg. Not dated - circa mid to late 1830s. Edition and printing ot known. In fairly good brown leather boards, with blind stamped ruled, decorative edges and gilt design to front, and to back strip with gilt titles. The covers are straight and tight, marked on front, sides of spine and fore edge worn. Quite clean pale yellow end papers; edges of the paste downs are stained brown from leather covers. Clean gilt cut edges. The text block is tightly bound, square and only very lightly tanned, mostly around edges of prelims and pages at end of text block.Very good condition and excellent for age.With 17 engravings from drawings by A.G. Vickers with tissue guards. The tail edge of frontispiece has feint water/damp mark. No inscriptions etc. Overall good condition.

Einbandrücken oben und unten mit zwei sehr kleine Fehlstellen, kleine Gebrauchsspuren. Papier stockfleckig. Auf Titelseite Namenseintrag und ein paar leichte, kleine Flecken. Letztes Blatt leicht fleckig. Sprache: Deutsch Gewicht in Gramm: 300.
