A charming book of children's poetry, illustrated by Maurice Day, who was one of the first and best-known animators at Disney Studios. He was illustrator ''Bambi," using Maine deer as his models. Illustrations include a turtle, hippo, pengiun, mule, and birds. Covers show mild wear and scuffing, with wear to edges. Interior is clean, crisp, tight & bright, and other than author's inscription unmarked. 64 pp. Approx. 5.75" x 8.5". A very nice copy of a wonderful children's book.
