Hbk, 1st edition, 129pp, illustr photo frontis with tissue-guard and other photos in the text, quarter red cloth over printed paper-covered boards, light smudging to covers, inked identifier on lower spine, now in custom acetate jacket, 2 prev ownerÕs stamps, one on front pastedown and a second on front endpaper, noth light, this edition went through two printings, 1915 and 1916, became so talked-about that it was later (1917) re-issued as a trade edition under the title Ambulance Number 10: A Personal Letters from the Front, internally a fine, clean, tight and unmarked text, scarce in this 1st edition.
