Original black pebbled cloth with gilt lettering on front board. Folding maps are in good condition but on fragile (acid) paper; with the rare "Index map" (brittle and split at folds).

Murray Bay, Alfred Cimon & Co. , no publishing date, 1895 (for the preface), original black pebbled cloth with gilt title on front board, about 8 ½ X 7 ĵ inches, title pages, 14 pages of text (28 pages printed only of one side) and 11 large folding maps. Cover is near or better, showing only a few very minor wear here and there. Gilt lettering are still bright. Interior is fine ; complete, clean and solidly bound, all maps are very fine, looking fresh, not fragile, I have opened each one without problem. There are two small owner's stamps, one to first endpaper and a seco9ng on title page, and last endpaper presents a 5 inches superficial scratch (see images). A very scarce book in a collector's condition.
