The director of most productions was Kote Mardzhanishvili (1872-1933), Russian and Georgian director, founder of the Georgian national theater. The stage designer of many performances was Irakli Gamrekeli (1894-1943), one of the most important design figures of the experimental modernism in Georgia and chief figure in the H2SO4 group. It includes 6 full-page photos of stage sets, mostly attributed to him. Author Aleksandr Duduchava was the Director of the Tbilisi Academy of the Arts from 1927 to 1930.
