Illustrated with excellent photos. ______ Includes portraits and group photos of the surviving members of the original 1872 volunteer company, current officers and personnel, fire houses (one apparently all-Black), active equipment (most still horse-drawn), and the ice-caked remains of the Bitting Block after the January 1911 fire. ______ Ends with several pages of local ads. ______ The cord-tied overhanging wraps are edge chipped. ______There is a damp line to the spine and bottom 1" of the text block.
