Book First Edition
Hardcover. Condition: As New. Dust Jacket Condition: As New. 1st Edition. As new condition black boards with gold front cover and spine lettering, contained in an as new condition color photographic dust jacket. Includes Praise for The Gospel According to Dan Brown; Dedications; Acknowledgments; Introduction: We Don't Hate Dan Brown; Works Cited; and Index. "Using their knowledgme of how stories work, Dunn and Bubeck compare the gospel stories of the Bible to Brown's myths. They show that the two worldviews are worlds apart." - Peter Jones, Co-author, Cracking Dav Vinci's Code "Whether you're a believer in the Bible's gospels, looing to understand what the phenomenon over Dan Brown's novels is all about, or a true believer in Brown's gospel worldview, you'll find this book an even-handed and comprehensive look at the big-picture concerns that are at stake. If you (or someone you know) have waded through the debates over historical perspectives and still wonder what it's really all about, this book goes to the true heart of the matter - the stories. Dan Brown's books are not alleging facts within fiction: they are gospel stories with their own gospel messages representing a conflict that is as old as human history. Join us as we sift through Dan Brown's novels in order to separate fact from truth, God from gods and goddesses, and gospel from myth. Whether you're a Dan Brown fan or neophyte, you must come to grips with these gospels - Dan Brown's and the Bible's." - from the inner front jacket flap. ".Choose wisely - The Gospel According to Dan Brown or the gosepl according to Jesus Christ." - from the rear outer jacket.
