This is a history of people and places in the area of Longs Peak, the northernmost 14-foot peak in Colorado. Principal city is Loveland, where the author resided. Eventually he finished two more volumes on this topic. Laid into the book are some odds and ends including a letter and two cards to a woman who may have received the book from Mr., Dunning. There is a column of his from the local newspaper and a preo-publication flyer for Volume 2. This copy he signed and dated on the title page with the message "Happy Birthday". Inscribed by Author(s).
