Tipiche arrossature della carta. Legatura piuttostro modesta ma esemplare buono. E' questa la prima edizione dell'opera che il Dupré scrisse sotto forma di raccolta di lettere durante il suo viaggio in Italia, compiuto da Parigi a Roma e Venezia, passando per il Moncenisio all'andata e per il Sempione al ritorno. Olschki n. 227 cita la seconda edizione del 1826.
