Green marbled paper hard boards have some rubbing at the extremities, dark green cloth spine with paper pastedown title. There is no pastedown to the front cover. Interior has some pencil erasure to the first blank, otherwise clean and nice. Viridian and black title page, viridian initials and small sketches throughout. Very attractive small octavo. A look at Samuel Constantine Rafinesque's (1783-1840) time in Kentucky.
