Small 4to, pp. [20]; 9 leaves of exquisite penmanship, each leaf adorned with an attractive watercolor or two of floral and botanical motifs; very nice. Maria was the fourth child of William and Charlotte De Wolfe. In 1814 she married Robert Rogers, a wealthy and prominent banker in Bristol, after whose death Maria endowed the Rogers Free Library in Bristol, still standing and still in operation.
