Dyfrig writes in an optimistic, patriotic tone. Featuring verses such as "We Are Coming, Gallant Belgium!", "Kitchener Time" and "L'envoi!" In publisher's original cloth binding. Presentation copy. Signed by the author with an inscription to the front free endpaper, dated August 13th 1936. Additional corrections in the author's hand to pages 13 and 69. Second inscription and signature to front free endpaper from Tim Wilson, most likely a relative of the original owner, Mr. F. W. Wilson. Externally, very smart with slight bumping and rubbing to joints and spine tips. Internally, firmly bound. Pages bright and clean with the exception of light spotting, concentrated towards the first and last few pages. Very Good Indeed. signed by author. book.
