Poor (1866-1951) who was an astronomy professor known for his opposition to Einstein's theory of relativity, he was also the inventor of a line of position computers for yachting navigation, the inscription is from an unknown contributor and is dated "Annapolia 9 March 1963," it reads "To: Charles L. Poor and the illustrious line of C. L. Poor, I, II, III, & IV from a contemporary of C. L. P. I." Book is in excellent condition with no significant flaws, 91 pages, illustrated.
