Hardback. Condition: Fine. 1st Edition. London, W. Drewett, 1868. First Edition. First Impression. Hardback. A fine copy. Having just scanned through the book it appears to be the story of Helen Bevington's fairly rough life, losing her mother, stepmother, fiance, gaining a seemingly abusive and alcoholic step-mother, and eventually losing her estate. The book is inscribed, Hannah Beddall - possibly the author, given the initials match the title. Rebound in marbled paper and with a leather label. Only two copies located in libraries. [11588, Hyraxia Books].
