A heavy volume due to the 100 collotype plates from photographs specially taken by Davie and accompanied by an introductory account of the architecture of the district with notes and sketches by the architect Dawber The spine is starting to break and the front cover ( green cloth with black decoration and titling ) is cracked, hence the "fair" condition The contents however are clean foxing to the plates being confined to close to the binding thus not affecting their beauty.
