There is a name stamped a couple of times on the front end papers. Illustrated. 365 pages. The title page states: First Edition. Seventh Impression.

Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. No Jacket. second edition book is tight with no markings, light soiling to page edges, boards have mild rubbing and corners have bumping and rubbing.

Boards have mild shelf wear with light rubbing and corner bumping. Some light marking and sunning.

Cloth. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good. First Edition. Morphology of the Angiosperms was written and, perhaps, illustrated by Arthur J. Eames. The book was published by McGraw-Hill Book Company, Inc. in 1961 and appears to be a First Edition though it's not specifically stated as such. It's not an ex-library copy but does appear to have been a textbook for someone at one time. There's a name on the front loose end page, and a lot of underlining within the text . . . at least early on in the text. Both the book and the dust jacket are in very good condition but for the markings. It has 518 glossy pages with an Index, a Bibliography, a Table of Contents, and black-and-white illustrations and photographs throughout the text. It HAS to be quite a work on a topic most of us lay people have never heard of. Thank you!

Tightly bound with mild thumb-marking throughout. Previous owner's inscription to front endpaper. Mild droplet to upper text block edge. Boards have light shelf-wear with corner bumping. Moderate tanning to spine, which has mild crushing and wear to ends. Book has forward lean. Boards are mildly warped.
