Leadoff volume in what is now a four volume series (volume# is not indicated). First edition (as stated upon copyright page). [6], vi, 464 pages. Hardcover: H 28.75cm x L 22.25cm. No dust jacket (presumably as issued). Glossy boards lightly rubbed; slight soiling towards spine ends; some sunning to spine and to front board's top and fore-edge margins. Some foxing to text block edges; light brown stain to top edge with shallowly affecting leaves at their top margins; interior pages are otherwise clean. Binding is firm. Slender "Corrections" slip laid-in at front endpapers.
