Limited edition 300 copies , this copy No. 117, signed by author and artist Eberhard Equit to limitation page. pp400 with some 115 beautiful plates depicting 150 specimens. Hardcover in slipcase issued without dust jacket. Green leather covered slipcase with gilt titles and tooled gilt borders to front cover in near fine condition with a few minor scratches. Binding of full green leather with same gilt titles and borders to front cover in fine condition. Inside, with text in English and German, in fine, unread condition. The third and final publication by Equit of his work, he created realistic, finely detailed mineral portraits on a 1:1 scale. Using very fine, specially made brushes, it took him about a day to meticulously paint a postage-stamp sized area. This beautiful publication is extremely scare, with no other copies found online, published shortly before his death in 2016.
