Cover SIGNED by Blanchflower, who has also SIGNED an article he has written for the magazine titled "Ambition-and the Spur" It is signed along the side of a monochrome photo of him - after his signature he has written "Captain Six Co I.F.A." In the article he refers to his idol Peter Doherty who he regarded as 'the greatest of them all' There is a monochrome action photo of Doherty in the text of the article and this too has been SIGNED by Peter Doherty. So here are 3 autographs (2 of Blanchflower & 1 of Doherty) who were among the greats of Northern Ireland football. All 3 autographs are in blue biro. In addition there are two more autographs in pencil of boxers who feature in an article on Russian boxers coming to fight in Britain at the time - the autographs are above a photograph of a European Feather weight fight at Wembley between Alexander Sasuchin & Tommy Nicholls.
