In very good bright turquoise cloth boards, gilt publisher's logo to front and gilt titles to spine. The boards are firm and straight;; front tail corner is marked; top edges a little faded. Clean black end papers. The text block is illustrated with black and white plates, 10 colour plates by Roger Wood and a map. The pages are tightly bound and even; the pages with text are tanned around the edges, the block with plates are clean. Very good condition. No dedications etc. In good pictorial dust jacket with colour image of shrine of Fatimeh to front with yellow titles. The edges and sides are worn; the flaps a little tanned. Price clipped.
